The Special Activities Center (S.A.C) is a division of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that is responsible for carrying out covert and paramilitary operations. S.A.C consists of two primary sections: SAC/SOG (Special Operations Group) for tactical paramilitary operations and SAC/PAG (Political Action Group) for covert political action. To support our mission, we employ small elements from other SOF units such as CCTs from 24th STS and AvTEG for aviation support.
We are a predominantly European unit with a significant number of American members. Consequently, our operations take place nearly every day around 19:00 GMT.
The S.A.C is a highly capable and versatile fighting force, providing the United States National Security Council with alternative options when overt military or diplomatic actions are not viable or politically feasible.
Ground Branch (GB) is a Tier 1 force renowned for its versatility and elite capabilities. This ground team undertakes a wide range of operations, including both covert and overt actions. They excel in executing high-stakes missions that require stealth and precision, as well as those that demand visible, decisive action. In addition, Ground Branch is involved in political action, leveraging their skills to influence and shape outcomes in complex geopolitical environments.
Combat Control Teams (CCT) play a critical role in mission success. They manage both ground-to-air communications and air traffic control, ensuring seamless coordination between ground forces and aircraft. Additionally, they oversee close air support missions, directing precise airstrikes to support troops on the ground. This combination of responsibilities ensures effective air-ground integration and enhances operational efficiency.
Aviation Tactics & Evaluation Group (AvTEG) provides specialized flight operations for our missions as an integral component of the covert special operations airlift infrastructure. AvTEG operates a multitude of both Western and Eastern airframes, ensuring versatile and adaptive support for various mission requirements.
